For the very first time I was tempted by one of those little ads that pop up on your Facebook. You know the ones that supposedly you would be interested in but are always like some weird Asian Elderly Jewish dating site or a website for adults who like to wear diapers.

The website ad was for wittlebee, a subscription clothing service for children ages birth to 5 years. You basically get a personal stylist who packs a little box full of clothing each month valued at over $100 retail for only $40 bucks. You never have to leave the house and the clothes are fabulous. I immediately wanted to try it.

I went to their website and filled out the online style questionnaire and then totally bailed when it came time to fill in my payment information. I wasn’t totally convinced. So I started getting emails from them and offers. Well I was finally convinced when I received a half off coupon code. $20 bucks can’t really beat that even if the clothes totally suck.

So I waited and I waited for my first box to arrive. Apparently wittlebee exploded over night so it took about 3 weeks for my first box to get here today. While I was waiting I started to see online comments about wittlebee on some of my cloth chat groups. Oh no these mamas were not pleased. Damn it Sam you got screwed again! I started to really second guess my decision. But I won’t lie I was pretty stoked to open that box.

The box contained 2 outfits, 2 dresses, and some stickers. After some online pricing this is how my box broke down…

Grand total $49 bucks

Maybe the box, tissue paper, shipping, and stickers knock it up to a value of $100 dollars because the clothes most defiantly do not. The selections were cute but I am not seeing the deal here. Since I only paid $20 I am not overly bummed. I am going to give it one more month to see if the clothes increase in value.

Initial thought wittlebee is not what it claims to be!
